Overview

Valley of Flowers is a beautiful place. During the monsoon season, "Foolon ki Ghati" is one of the most magnificent hiking trips. It is perfectly tucked in Uttarakhand's West Himalayan area, at a towering elevation of 3600 metres above sea level. The Valley Of Flowers journey is one of the most well-known treks in the world, with the chance to see the extremely rare blue Primula. In the Hindu epic Ramayan, Hanuman is said to have brought the mystical plant from the Valley of Flowers to resurrect Lakshman.

Itinerary

Meet us at the Haridwar Railway Station at 7:00 a.m. Please come a day early in Haridwar to avoid any delays. We set off on our journey to Govind Ghat. The voyage might take up to 11 hours to complete. As you travel up the Bhagirath highway, which runs beside the Alaknanda River, you'll notice the hairpin curves in the road and the valley rising deeper and deeper. You'll arrive at the base camp, which is at a height of 1920 metres, late in the evening. After a lengthy trip, take a break to adapt to the altitude. Grab a wonderful meal before returning to your guesthouse/lodge or hotel for the night.

A stunning dawn and a hearty meal will get your day off to a great start! The ascent to Ghangharia, which is at a height of 2926 metres, begins after that. The walk might take up to 7 hours to complete. The initial portion of the route to the sacred Hem Kund is motorable, and it is usually busy with Sikh pilgrims. The journey follows a modest ascent throughout the day. For the most part, you'll be strolling beside the river until you cross it. Following that, the river would be hidden from view. There is no need to pack food for the day because there are lots of eateries and dhabas along the road. Once you arrive, you can rest and check into the hotel/guesthouse.

Start your day early in the morning by gazing out the window of your hotel room at the magnificent dawn. We will begin our trip to the Valley of Flowers, which is located at a height of 3505 metres, after breakfast. The Valley of Flowers walk can take up to 7 hours to complete, and the landscape is very flat and easy to navigate. The Valley of Flowers National Park's gates may be reached after a short stroll. We arrive at the park after purchasing our tickets and immediately notice small changes in the terrain, finally leading to a wonderful ancient bridge built over a bubbling brook. Following the bridge, the environment changes dramatically as the valley opens out on one side, revealing a stunning sight of flowers of all colours and varieties! Geraniums, Himalayan Roses, Blue Poppy, Dog Flower, and other flower species come in a rainbow of colours, including blue, red, yellow, and pink. After lunch, begin your trip back to Ghanghariya for an overnight stay!

This day, get up before the sun for an early breakfast! Begin by preparing yourself for a possibly difficult day ahead! You may hike to Hemkund Sahib, which is 4300 metres above sea level, on this day! The hike might take up to ten hours to accomplish, and the terrain will stay steep throughout. As you progress up the steep trail, you'll come across a little waterfall as the view improves. You'll notice that the amount of oxygen in the air decreases as you fly higher. Take plenty of rests along the journey to avoid altitude sickness. The spectacular vistas, on the other hand, will be more than enough to distract you from the battle. When you eventually get to the Hemkund Sahib, take in the peace and quiet that pervades the area, as well as the magnificent sight of the Hemkund Sahib Gurudwara by the lake. It's a stunning sight to witness, especially when the rare Brahma Kamal emerges from time to time! After relaxing for a while and enjoying lunch near the lake, begin your descent to Ghanghariya. The descent will be steep and difficult on the knees, but it will be thrilling and exciting! You'll be staying in Ghanghariya for the night!

Get up early for the descent back to base camp. After another gorgeous morning and a hearty meal, we continue our descent. The idea is to come early so you have plenty of time to leisurely tour the nearby sites, such as Auli. This is where you can stay for the night!
